CHRONIXX IN DETROIT
I first came across Chronixx in 2013, his song(Here Comes Trouble) was suggested by Youtube. His music carried a message and had a groovy feel, he reminded me of Bob Marley. I have been following his work ever since. Funfact: I'm a big fan of reggae and dancehall music.
When I saw the event poster on the Jerk x Jollof page(day before the event), I was like a reggae concert in Michigan and Chronixx? You can imagine my excitement. Of course I had to go see the "Smile Jamaica" hit maker and take the opportunity to get some cool pictures.
The show was held at the El Club in Detroit, the atmosphere was "irie" if you know what I mean lol. DJs treated us with some old classics, conscious dancehall and lovers rock tunes while the crowd danced and sang along.
The show started late, which is typical for most reggae concerts I've been to. Jah9 opened for Chronixx with songs like Avacado and Gratitude.
Let me not bore you with details, enjoy some of the photos I took that at the event.
